Microsoft being ahead of all in office 365 email and rest of solutions for businesses and individuals. In addition to the Xbox Series X|S launch, a new upgrade to Microsoft Flight Simulator has been published for PC and consoles, enabling cross-play/saving between PC and console and greatly increasing performance.

Asobo Studio has released another big update across all platforms for the newest Flight Simulator edition, which is now available globally on PC and Microsoft’s next-gen consoles. The new update not only improves speed, but it also makes the game more accessible to novice players. The entire release notes for this new update may be seen at the bottom of this page.

We have covered a graphics and performance comparison video yesterday, showing the excellent quality of the Series S version of the game, and we have another one today. This new video, which comes courtesy of YouTube technology channel “ElAnalistaDeBits,” contrasts the game’s graphics and frame rates on next-gen consoles and PC.

On both Xbox Series X and S, the game’s frame rate is restricted at 30FPS, although it may be unlocked by utilizing a VRR compliant monitor.

The Xbox Series X’s visual settings are impressively close to the highest PC settings, with the draw distance being the same on Microsoft’s topline console. Microsoft Flight Simulator is one of the most demanding games to date, but impressively, the Xbox Series X’s visual settings are close to the highest PC settings.

In terms of console loading speeds, the Series X appears to load the game faster when starting a flight, but the Series S appears to load the sim almost twice as quickly when starting a flight. This is most likely due to the Xbox Series X’s higher settings and graphics load, according to “ElAnalistaDeBits.”
