Microsoft 365 tools such as Outlook and Word are getting Dictation enhancements.

The new Microsoft Office 365 update is aimed at voice dictation. It will make some of the most popular Microsoft 365 products even more engaging.

Microsoft officially announced that the software giant is working on improving the Office Dictation feature. It allows users to dictate documents, emails, and other items vocally.

Microsoft 365 is getting a set of changes to make dictation a more vital part of your working life. It will have an updated design, new graphics, and enhanced features.

The improved Office Dictation feature will initially emerge in Word and Outlook.

The Office dictation toolbar has been revamped to have fresh aesthetics. It has a responsive UI, and a smaller design so it does not hinder your writing. The company is strategically keeping the smaller design so users could get the most out of the feature without any effort.

This implies a more sophisticated and user-friendly service. Allowing users to dictate emails, Word documents, or reminders while on the go.

The feature is still in progress and will be available by the end of July. Microsoft claims it will be available to Office customers worldwide on Desktop, Web, and Mac after launch.

Microsoft has been prioritizing enhanced dictation in Office for quite some. This update is the next step forward for the company.

Similarly, Microsoft has made some updates to Office last year including a profanity filter and automated punctuation.

Later that year, the platform was expanded to enable a larger range of languages on its Microsoft Dictate service. The software company also enabled Outlook users to dictate email messages as well as calendar appointments and meeting content.

Microsoft understands that sometimes we don’t want to type so the dictation feature will make it easier to send emails when we don’t feel like typing. With responsive UI and a smaller design, you can simply open the Outlook app on your phone and dictate without any hassle.
